Lower Saucon Outdoor Oasis

This project was designed with several important factors in mind. We wanted a contemporary feel with a terraced patio space overlooking the beautiful view of the valley from the lower portion of the backyard. We also had to take into account the steeply sloping backyard in close proximity to the rear of the home. Drainage, privacy, mature trees, fence lines, and other existing site features needed to all be accommodated in the new design. We designed a space that integrated into the architecture of the home beautifully. A new composite deck features a built-in outdoor cooking space with storage and integrated lighting. We created a covered pavilion area with a gas fire feature so that our clients can relax by the fire, rain or shine. Hardscaping with large format slabs ensures plenty of patio space for dining, relaxing, and entertaining. We built a stone staircase to connect the walkout basement patio to the main outdoor living space. Landscaping and lighting draw guests out of the home and into the outdoor space, and surround sound audio ensures the backyard sounds as good as it looks.
